About me

I've been fortunate to have many roles and careers in my life so far. My academic and work experience is rich and varied, covering linguistics & philosophy, economics, medical education, health promotion, social sciences and a few other random but interesting subjects! I've lived, studied and/or worked in Zambia, Lesotho, South Africa, Canada, Finland and am now very pleased my home is in England. I've worked in the oil industry, in marketing and PR and in the healthcare sector.

My career as a writer is focused on building fiction on my base of non-fiction books. Current studies include an MA in Creative writing at Oxford Brookes. I've two novels in the drawer and a number of short stories and creative essays published.

I am the Managing Director of Sarah Fraser & Associates Ltd which provides support to healthcare organisations in the USA, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands. Along with my Associates we offer healthcare roles such as speaking, training, coaching, improvement project design and management. I've enjoyed creating innovative learning materials which include board games. You can find out more about my business activities at the company website.

I've been a member of Rotary International for many years and in 2011/12 I am the President of the Rotary Club of Aylesbury. The role of Girlguiding Ambassador is valuable to me as I believe in the importance of providing girls and young women with opportunities to develop their abilities and selves.
